Damage for Magic Strikes in tri-Ace’s Nintendo 3DS game is calculated based on how well you protect the mysterious girl.
The twist is instead of selecting a command like attack, magic or item players choose the strength of the attack and the target. Attack strength changes the turn order since a powerful hit has more recovery time.
Beyond the Labyrinth lets you outfit the girl in different kinds of custom-created costumes.
Players will explore dungeons with a mysterious girl guiding them. You can also hold her in the palm of your hand because the Nintendo 3DS game has augmented reality features.
New video gives us a look at the battle system tri-Ace designed for Beyond the Labyrinth.
Bravely Default: Flying Fairy won’t be the only Nintendo 3DS role playing game that supports augmented reality.
Konami and Radiata Stories developer tri-Ace have another RPG project in the pipeline. Beyond the Labyrinth is a role playing game where you follow a mysterious girl into a maze.
But it looks like Tri-Ace still aren’t ready to talk about the game’s battle system.
While details of Beyond the Labyrinth’s battle system are still scarce, you can check out screenshots of what it looks like.
The maze, shown from a first person perspective, is contained on the top screen. The bottom screen is used for a map. Save your cartography skills for Etrain Odyssey, Beyond the Labyrinth has an auto-mapping system and a landmark marker.
Konami and Tri-Ace have released a trailer for the 3DS RPG.
Tri-ace isn’t just working on Frontier Gate. The Star Ocean developer is also making a Nintendo 3DS RPG titled Beyond the Labyrinth. All of the screenshots so far have a silver-haired lass. Is she the main character?
Sakuraba is associated with past major Tri-Ace games as well, and also with certain Namco Bandai titles.
