Capcom have shared a very interesting developer roundtable on the Darkstalkers series subtitled in English.

“We’re working on promotions and the like to improve the situation. We’ve not given up,” says Capcom USA senior VP Christian Svensson.

Darkstalkers Resurrection is getting an update patch on April 12th, Capcom have announced.

“I think we’ve probably run the course of feasible titles here,” says Capcom USA Senior VP Christian Svensson.

Capcom will release an update for Darkstalkers Resurrection on April 12 that adds a fight request option for arcade and training mode. Fight request allows players to wait for an opponent while practicing combos.

Darkstalkers Resurrection provides a way to experience the evolution of 2D fighting games into what they are today.

“Compared to the arcade versions of Night Warriors and Darkstalkers 3, the input delay on Darkstalkers Resurrection is within 2 frames,” says producer, Ayano.

Capcom recently held a press event in Japan for Darkstalkers Resurrection, at which producer, Tomoaki Ayano, discussed the game with the press.

In North America and Europe, Darkstalkers Resurrection will be released as a downloadable game. Japan will get the compilation with Night Warriors: Darkstalkers and Darkstalkers 3 on a Blu-ray disc on March 14.

Capcom made cool characters for the Darkstalkers series like Lord Raptor. Imagine Dhalsim’s moves linked to a rock and roll zombie.

We’re getting Darkstalkers Resurrection on the same week as Japan. Capcom will release the collection which includes Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 as a PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade download.

While Capcom hasn’t set a date for North America or Europe, Darkstalkers Resurrection is almost ready for Japan. Darkstalkers Resurrection will be released on March 14 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Darkstalkers Resurrection is a two game compilation of Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Vampire Savior in one digital download. Just like Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition, Iron Galaxy is using GGPO netcode to handle online play.
