Yostar will hold a Japanese Azur Lane Christmas livestream on Monday, December 21, 2020, at 8pm JST (6am ET). Just like every other stream for the game, this presentation is expected to reveal a lot of new information about upcoming events and content for the mobile shipgirl game.
Every time an Azur Lane livestream is held in December, we can expect the reveal of a new major event that will run through the New Year. For example, the 2018 Christmas stream revealed the “Crimson Echoes” event starring the battlecruiser IJN Amagi, while the 2019 edition unveiled the “Swirling Cherry Blossoms” event that added the Azur Lane: Crosswave co-protagonist IJN Suruga, among others.
With a new Christmas season, we can expect new Christmas-themed skins for more shipgirls too. We could also get more details on “Operation Siren,” the new major exploration mode that—according to the roadmap published by Yostar in September 2020—will be implemented in December 2020.
The last Azur Lane livestream was held for a whopping 25 hours non-stop on September 12-13, 2020 to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Japanese version. That stream revealed the “Dreamwaker’s Butterfly” event, which starred the aircraft carrier IJN Shinano. Yostar also published the first trailer of the Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! anime on the second day.
