The latest Jump issue revealed that Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan will add a Hinokami Kagura version of Tanjiro Kamado. The famous protagonist will have both of his breathing styles represented in the first console game for the popular franchise. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]
While Tanjiro is already confirmed as the first playable character in Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan, the initial images only showed his default Water Breathing style. Hinokami Kagura is another Breathing Style that Tanjiro exclusively learned from his father Tanjuro. The magazine also showed how the Hinokami Kagura Tanjiro has the Clear Blue Sky technique in his repertoire.
Aniplex and CyberConnect2 revealed many Demon Slayer key characters in Hinokami Kepputan‘s playable roster. Other than Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko, the developers also shared his close friends Zenitsu and Inosuke, as well as his teacher Sakonji. The roster will include Tanjiro’s Water Breathing seniors Sabito and Makomo, and the famous Hashira members Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, and Kyojuro Rengoku too.
Aniplex will release Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021 in Japan. CyberConnect2, the studio known for creating the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja games, is working on this arena battler game. Despite the list of confirmed platforms, Aniplex has yet to officially announce a Western release for the title.
