In the newest post, Katano addressed the feedback received from the second open beta test. The team had tried to improve the online matching system by adding rematches and Duel Stations, although users still reported connectivity issues. Katano promised to fix as many bugs as possible until the game’s full release. He also mentioned further adjustments to the battle balance, such as increasing the jumping movement arcs.

The post also contained screenshots for the Player Match and Mission modes. Player Match will let users invite friends into a personalized space to have casual matches or hold tournaments. The Mission mode will contain more advanced tutorials that range from in-depth explanations of gameplay systems to workarounds against specific characters in Guilty Gear Strive.

Arc System Works will deliver more Guilty Gear Strive information by holding an Early Access Showcase stream on June 6, 2021, at 10:15 AM ET. It will publish new story footage and a post-release update roadmap in the stream, which will be available in both Japanese and English. This game’s story is said to end the storyline for the series protagonist Sol Badguy. You can also catch up on the Guilty Gear series lore with a series of comical explanation videos featuring May.

Guilty Gear Strive will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on June 11, 2021.
