In what’s become a yearly tradition, Square Enix confirmed yet again that it will sell the Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories / Re:Chain of Memories playing cards based on the items from the GBA and PS2 game again in 2026. The latest run costs 3,080 yen (~$19) and will release on December 26, 2026. The US store isn’t selling them yet. However, we should see them worldwide sometime after the Japanese debut.
We’ve seen these Kingdom Hearts cards show up basically every year since 2023. Every time, they cost the same, as it didn’t change in 2024 or 2025. It features 52 cards with characters, Keyblades, and enemies from that entry in the series on them. Each one also has the crown-shaped design at the top.
As a reminder, here’s how all of the suits and two Jokers will look in the Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories playing cards deck. One of the photos also showed the backs.

The Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories / Re:Chain of Memories playing cards will return in Japan on December 26, 2026. The game first appeared on the GBA, the remake showed up on the PS2, and it showed up in the PS3 Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix and Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Remix compilations. It will be on the Switch 2 on October 8, 2026.
