Last week’s best-seller in Japan was a game that slipped under everyone’s radar—Disney Magic Castle: My Happy Life by Namco Bandai. This is a game where you play as a Mii and get to interact with a number of Disney characters. Check out the trailer below for an idea of what it’s like:

 

 

Meanwhile, the previous week’s best-seller, Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, has reached the very impressive milestone of 300,000 copies sold by its second week—and that’s actual copies sold, not just shipped to retailers. It should be interesting to compare sales with those of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney at the end of the year.

 

Finally, this week’s other major release, Killer is Dead, the latest game from Grasshopper’s Suda51, didn’t fare nearly as well. The game sold a meagre 17,709 copies on PlayStation 3—that’s a lower debut than Lollipop Chainsaw and even No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise.
