Sales slowed down across the board last week, coming out of the holidays in Japan. Mario Kart 7 held onto the top spot for another week, while Monster Hunter 3G inched closer to selling out of the million copies that Capcom shipped.
The only new item that charted during the week was The Idolm@ster Anime & G4U: Vol. 3. Meanwhile, PlayStation Vita sales dipped to sub-50k for its third week on the market.
Konami’s recent trio of PSP games that failed to chart in the top-20 during Christmas week had an opportunity to make an appearance last week. Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 in particular, has sold very well, at 157,000 copies. We now have some insight into PowerPro Baseball 2011 Ketteiban and Frontier Gate sales, too.
