Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online: Alicization launched with a lot of issues. As such, the company promised a steady stream of bug fixes. We’ve seen quite a few since, going over things like the frame rate and loading times. Now, following the 1.09 patch release, there’s a Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris update video showing the new features in action.
Things start by looking at the new Semi-Auto Mode. This is an optional addition that makes combat a bit easier. Then, it shows how someone could use Lightplay mode to let people familiar with the existing story skip its lengthy first chapter to get to the new story in the second chapter. It then shows the Raid Dungeon Extreme, with its better rewards, and ReoNa’s new Finish Arts.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Update 1.09 is now available. (Past updates did things like add theme song singer ReoNa as a potential playable party member.
