The last two videos in the Monster Hunter Rise weapon introduction series offer looks at new actions fot the Hunting Horn and Charge Blade. Capcom also updated the official website with more information on some of the new moves, as usual.
Monster Hunter Rise – Hunting Horn
The Hunting Horn’s first unique action, “Slide Beat,” will use the Wirebug to launch the Hunter for a spinning attack. The last performance will grant buffs and immunity to knockbacks. “Earthshaker” will be a powerful attack that deals damage with a sonic blast explosion.
Monster Hunter Rise – Charge Blade
The Charge Blade’s “Morphing Advance” action will allow users to launch themselves forward while switching the weapon into its axe form. The best part about this move is that monsters won’t be able to knock you back or even stun you. “Counter Peak Performance” will allow you to hold up a shield and absorb hits to fill your phials to the maximum.
