A very recognizable demon is back in Shin Megami Tensei V. Atlus confirmed that the Mothman will return with its latest SMT V demon digest video. It shows how the character will look in the new entry and gives us an idea of its moves.
Mothman is inspired by the cryptid that allegedly appears in West Virginia. The first shows two of them hopping around a dark area. Then, it heads into a fight. Three of Mothman’s options are shown there, attack, Zionga+1, and Pulinpa. It then uses that electric attack against an Azumi.

The tease for the July 1, 2021 SMT V video involved a Lilim silhouette. Based on the outline, it seems she will look the same way she did in games like Persona 5.
Atlus continues to tick down through the list of 200+ demons in SMT V and, in addition to Mothman, we know these 13 others will appear.

Shin Megami Tensei V will come to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on November 11, 2021 and worldwide on November 12, 2021. It will have multiple endings.
