Mario Kart 7 and Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. got off to a good start last week.
Zelda: Skyward Sword, Metal Gear Solid HD Edition and 7th Dragon 2020 were last week’s release highlights in Japan.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the fast-selling Zelda game ever.
“For the next one, if we will build on the methods we established this time, we might end up getting into a rut,” says Skyward Sword producer, Eiji Aonuma.
Take a look at the room’s creation.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword begins with Link on a floating continent. He wakes up from his room in the Knight Academy where he and Zelda reside.
The game’s development team wanted to include the romance, but producer, Eiji Aonuma, wasn’t so sure at first.
In Skyward Sword, Link and his peers attend the Knight Academy at Skyloft.
Development of Skyloft and the game’s sky sections in general was led by Daiki Iwamoto, the director of The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.
The idea for Timeshift Stones came partly from Ocarina of Time and partly from Nintendo staff conducting experiments with the idea of time travel.
And a look at the Silent Realm, where Link needs to rely on stealth to get by without his weapons.
While it isn’t very exciting, you’ll get to see the scene where Link acquires the Master Sword.
Nintendo has been trickling out artwork from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword in anticipation of the game’s November 20th release.
This happens if you let your Shield Gauge deplete during sword fights.
In Skyward Sword, you’ll return to areas you’ve already been to, and find new things to do.
Nintendo of America didn’t think the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword looked very visually impressive at E3 2010.
